Pain in the butt...and ankle...and knee...and wrist...and hip

Yesterday Nick Capadli, Billy Brown, Marc Allen and myself went to Ocean City. Little did we know half of the city was under water. Luckily the side that the skate park is on was nice and dry. Although the wind was ripping pretty hard everybody managed to get some real nice riding in. Big Marc learned to drop in on quarters which is mega awesome, personal progression is the best. Nick was throwing bars up, down and over everything in the park and got a few real nice clips. Marc and I went to 3 brothers pizza to grab a slice of pizza the size of three infants, after spending roughly $6,000 on boardwalk pizza we made our way back to the park where Erik Sammartino was ripping with Nick and Billy. I swear to god that dude rules, I'm pretty sure it was a simple warm up session for him and he was throwing down some real good stuff. 180 drop in was a stand out in my eyes. Also he was just in the November issue of RideBMX magazine which is super dope.Photobucket
(Sick nasty rail hop.)

Billy got some real nice boost clips over the hip and did a pretty steezy railride. I went for a line involving smiths and five four oh's, let's just say I'm not really good and under rotated which bent my wrist back well beyond it's usual bending point. Minutes before that Billy went for one of his patented air bike jerkers, but he never brought the bike back and landed funny. Evidently he tore ligaments in his knee and it's full of water which is never good. He will be out of riding for a little while which is a total bummer, especially since he never got to film his banger :(.

To continue with more bad news, Matt Gettings lovable Blazer is out of commission for a while. We were shredding Clayton skatepark for a few hours and when we decided to go ride some street out that way his truck broke down 200 feet after leaving the parking lot of the park. Even more bad news, my infamous Red Rocket is having trouble shifting. I can only go 45 mph which is a problem on the White Horse Pike. All of this shit has to happen during the last few weeks of filming of course.

On a lighter note, Matt and Brandon are now putting together videos for Shred Shack. The one day edit came out really nice and since then they put together another one.
If you have a youtube account go subscribe to shredshacksoldiers. They also have a Vimeo account. Give them both an add. I'm pretty sure once filming for the Piney DVD has ceased, more filming for Shred Shack is going to go down and I'm way suped on that since I don't have to edit anything!
